Where they are now

More than 150 marketplace partners.

The team is working on integrating AI into the platform and creating classes on how to leverage AI in small business. Updated September 2026.

What they do

The help exists but it's scattered across a dozen programs that don't know about each other. Minority Business Circle assembles it into a four-step path from planning through launch.

Who it's for

Minority-owned small businesses and people about to start one, described on the site as underserved communities.

What's different

The funding partners and affiliates are hand-picked rather than an open directory, and the software discounts are real money for a business at that stage.

Back a founder

Every Fifth Star company gets the same $25,000 check.

Contributions go into the fund that writes them. If Minority Business Circle exits one day, our share comes back to the fund and goes out again, which is what makes us an evergreen fund.
