An app that calls 911 and sends your location, your medical details and a recording with two taps, for the moments when speaking isn't possible or isn't safe.
A silent 911 call is usually an abandoned one. Aegis makes the call carry everything a dispatcher needs without the caller saying a word.
Individuals. The listing names people having a seizure or a panic attack, people for whom speaking would escalate the danger, older people living alone, and students walking home at night. A second product sells to employers, campuses and nonprofits.
After the alert, the person can keep texting with dispatch from the app, and responders get updates as their location or medical details change, so the exchange continues without the caller speaking.
Contributions go into the fund that writes them. If Aegis exits one day, our share comes back to the fund and goes out again, which is what makes us an evergreen fund.
